The CPU and memory are not close to 100% during the game or crashes. I've monitored the game while playing to see my CPU/GPU/MEM usage and only the GPU is running at 100%, then falling quickly to around zero%. I've checked event viewer and sometimes I will see "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered." around the time of the crash.
The crash generates no errors within Origin, just a hard freeze. Sometimes all monitors go black and I need to hard reset my machine, sometimes if I spam CTRL+ALT+Delete or ALT+F4 I can catch it before it freezes me out completely. This crashing only occurs during this game during multiplayer. The game I'm trying to play is Star Wars Battlefront: 2. The Drivers I've tried were 19.2.1 and 19.1.1, both crash the same way
MEM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000mhz. GFX: MSI Gaming Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5. Main Monitor: AOC G2460PF 24" G 144Hz, 1ms, i have 2 other monitors connected also. Got in contact with both Wildcard and EA, but have yet to hear back from Wildcard after a while and EA ended our chat before I even had a solution. We're not quite sure what did, and I've done everything he told me he did and nothing has worked. My friend's Ark game did the same thing for a little bit, but eventually fixed itself. Scoured a bunch of forums, and no solution has seemed to help me. Tried different compatibility modes, different launch options, different resolutions, windowed mode, different graphic settings, waited for both a graphics card update and a game update. I have verified/repaired both game files, completely deleted every trace of the games and both launchers from my registry. I have completely uninstalled steam and both the games numerous times, even origin for BF2. Sometimes, it doesn't even open and stays minimized in the taskbar, and when I click on it, it just shuts down. I get about 5-10 seconds of the menu music and once I move my mouse or click, it crashes. BF2 started about 3-4 days ago after working just fine for about a week since I got it. Ark started about 2 weeks ago after working just fine for the months I've played. Only those two games though, first Ark, then BF2 about a week later. Now, when I hit play on either of the games, they crash. They both have worked perfectly fine in the past, no issue. Two of my games are now crashing almost immediately after launching, Ark: Survival Evolved and Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017).
